Objective Media in my opinion is an accurate account of who, what, when, where and why (I know that this may seem very fundamental, but you'd be surprised how hard it is to find these days.)

As a result, I have been looking long and hard (he-he) for alternatives to the mainstream (mostly American) news. These are my favorites. Give them a chance.

Annenberg Political Fact Check - It turns out that everybody twists the facts a little.

The Guardian - A not for profit paper (no bottom line, no pandering to the powers that be.) Plus my favorite reporter Greg Palast.

Greg Palast - My favorite reporter.

Jim Hightower - America's #1 Populist. This man doesn't miss a thing.

BBC - You know, the BBC.

Mother Jones - An independent nonprofit with first rate investigative reporting.

Indy Media - Independant media center

If you haven't seen it yet, ProjectCensored has their yearly list of stories that really should have made the news and didn't get the play. In my opinon, if there were a liberal bias to the media, they would have definitely touched on some of these.
